A former Daily Mail showbusiness correspondent before going on to become a successful freelance feature writer, Michael Cable's work has appeared regularly over the past thirty years in national newspapers and magazines as well as in corporate journals. In addition to those under the Live Wire Books imprint, he has written a number of other books, including several 'ghosted' celebrity autobiographies, an acclaimed expose of the pop music business, an account of Operation Drake's round-the-world expedition for young people and a history of Brunei, commissioned by the Sultan.

Jill Todd started her journalistic career as Woman's Editor of the Hendon and Finchley Times in North London before spending five years on BBC Radio 4's You and Yours programme. For the past twenty years she has worked for national newspapers and women's magazines as a freelance feature writer, specialising in health, travel, real-life and human interest stories.

Our wide journalistic experience means that we can not only write, edit and publish your book for you but can also help to promote and publicise it. Not all of our authors request publicity for their books, but for those who have wished to bring their story to a wider audience, we have been very successful in terms of the reviews and features that have appeared in both local and national newspapers and magazines and radio.
